In Jamaica, when it comes to Mothers Day.. we approach it with caution and mixed reactions. There are those mothers who we tell Happy Mothers Day, but aside from contributing biologically they make us feel punished to be here.
Well Mothers are those who SMOTHER our development as human beings us biologically, socially or both. So through thick and thin
Today I focus on Proverbs 31… for all mothers biologically, socially and boh.
A mother is the truest friend we have, when trials heavy and sudden, fall upon us; when adversity takes the place of prosperity; when friends who rejoice with us in our sunshine desert us; when trouble thickens around us, still will she cling to us, and endeavor by her kind precepts and counsels to dissipate the clouds of darkness, and cause peace to return to our hearts.” –
