Dancehall’s hottest new producer Markus Myrie is currently dominating the airwaves with a plethora of hits including his recent No.1 for Bounty Killer and I-Octane’s ‘Badmind Dem A Pree’. Recently he has expanded his portfolio with the signing of two new acts to his label and the release of a compilation for the festive season.
Upcoming deejays Bryka and D’East are nthe new signees to the Markus Records imprint and will be officially introduced to the masses via the label’s latest project.
According to the Myrie, “aside from wanting to positively contribute to the growth of the music industry, it was the tenacity and lyrical prowess of Bryka and D’East, that proved a critical factor in my decision to sign them.” He continued, “Listen out for them on my new rhythm call Bar Bounce.”
Known also for rhythms such as the ‘Beating Stick’, ‘5th Gear’ and the chart bubbling ‘Street Bomb’, Markus is set to release the very riant ‘Bar Bounce’ rhythm for the Christmas holiday featuring international virtuosos; Mavado, Beenie Man, Elephant Man alongside Blak Ryno, Ninja Kid, Flexx, Khago, Fambo and newly signed Dancehall acts Bryka and D’East among others. The compilation being distributed by Hapilos 21st will be available for purchase via iTunes in January 2013.
