Carlene Davis goes to Africa after Blessing Antigua

Even with the recent spate of misfortunes affecting the local secular music industry, the gospel fraternity continues to thrive amidst the crisis and one of the main thrust behind this phenomenon is none other that the spiritually charged Dr. Minister Carlene Davis O.D. and her company Glory Music.

Dr. Min. Davis earlier this week departed the island for the shores of Uganda, Africa, where she will be ministering to the expected thousands in attendance at the Gospel Praise Worship in Kampala, Mokono Tax Park, between April 30 and May 3, 2010. This comes on the heels of her recent April 1 – 5 stint in Antigua at the Gems as Eagle Apostolic and Prophetic Conference, ‘where her ministry was so powerful that Intercessors and Government officials marched through the streets of St. John to her smash hit “One Hand Full of Salt”, from her latest album ‘True Worship’ as the nation prayed for peace and prosperity. She also met and prayed with Antiguan Prime Minister Baldwin Spencer before presenting him with copies of the ‘True Worship’ and ‘Best of Glory’ albums.

The same could almost be said for the recently concluded ‘Best Dressed Fun In The Son’ concert held on the ground of Jamaica College in Kingston with headliner Kirk Franklin. This year saw a massive outpouring of patrons as the Minister moved the over one hundred thousand (100,000) in attendance with her inspirational songs and messages of hope.

On the music scene, her latest video “Ambassador For Christ”, currently enjoys premium rotation on the world renown BET Video Gospel Sunday’s aired at 11am Eastern/10am Central. According to the ministerial doctor, the expression
