Ghetto Youths International recording artiste Black-Am-I is set to appear in the United States in March to support the project, Ghetto Youths presents Set Up Shop Volume 1. The compilation set to be released this month features his hit single Modern Day Freedom. The single has received good rotation in Jamaica and the US markets.
Black-Am-I kicks off his Urban and rhythmic radio station tour on the East Coast on Wednesday, March 13 at Toad’s Place in Connecticut for station WZMX. He heads to New York City for DJ Norie of Power 105 Anniversary show at BB King’s in Manhattan on Thursday, March 14, and Boston’s own Kay’s Oasis for Hot 97 Boston on Friday, March 15. He closes out the tour on Saturday, March 16 along with Morgan Heritage and Konshens in Rochester at Water Street Music Hall for WDKX.
The Reggae singer recently completed the video for Modern Day Freedom which had a worldwide premiere in Jamaica last month.
The talented vocalist hails from Nine Mile St. Ann, the birthplace of Reggae Legend Bob Marley. He is proud to be part of the Ghetto Youths Family since 2007 and believes that hard work got him there. With singles such as Dwelling and People Kill People the songwriter says his music is to inspire persons to be independent
