Earth reset? Will the planet as we know it become extinct

For years Jehovah’s Witnesses speak of a “new heaven” and a “new earth”. Christians speak of a renewed earth, heaven and hell. Scientists predict change in almost everything.
either way the planet as we know it is changing, at the very least it’s temperature gauge.
This could and will for some parts of the world affect the cultures of people whether they migrate as early ancestors and predecessors did.
Have you ever thought about it – how climate affects the way we are? Of certainty, it affects the animal kingdom, who humans are put to rule, according to Biblical teachings. Do we all now face extinction often predicted?

The following article describes a mass extinction threat currently faced by the Earth – almost as if someone, somewhere is pressing a reset button. It speaks of the extinction of animal species as priority.
This seems parallel with at least some religious beliefs. Therefore, could it be a sign to align any inclination of a religious culture appropriately.
