IN THE YEAR 1968:
Orville Richard Burrell aka Shaggy is born in Kingston, Jamaica. The reggae grammy-award winning superstar is known worldwide for his 1995 single “Boombastic” and 2000 single “It Wasn’t Me.” He won a grammy for ‘Boombastic’ in 1996. He however has been making indelible marks since creating a annual Shaggy and Friends concert in 2009, in support of the Bustamante Children’s Hospital.
