Jamaica Music Countdown May 4-10, 2012 by Richie B… Damion “Jnr Gong” Marley tops the Reggae Singles charts, Bruk It Down – Mr Vegas tops dancehall singles

The countdown by Richie B looks good this week. The reactions of the public have put Affairs of the Heart – Damion “Jnr Gong” Marley on top of the Reggae Singles charts after 9 weeks. His brother Ziggy drops to 4th place on top albums with his Wild & Free entry. Singing Melody with her They Call Me Mr Melody falls to second place behind Diversity – Gentleman, as the C-Sharpe band falls to 6th place with The Invitation, ahead of Shaggy’s Summer in Kingston.
Sophia Brown rotates in the bottom 3 with Catch Me If You Can.

On the Reggae Singles charts, L.O.V.E. You – I-Octane is the only new entry. Silver Words – Robert Minott feat. Kirk Kbz is 2nd, and Judgement Day – Raging Fyah is 3rd. Sophia Brown’s Tonight Is The Night is 5th after 2 weeks.

Set Up Shop – Damian “Jnr Gong Marley” holds 17th place in top 25 dancehall singles topped by Bruk It Down – Mr Vegas.
