Jamaican moves from fallow to fertile ground by Faith

“So the Israelites wandered around in the Wilderness for 40 years when in fact the journey we now know could have taken three days. There were lessons to learn and many to unlearn. There is no better analogy. I might not have a Moses, I sure as hell have a Pharoah… and he is one mean bastard in a ‘mini skirt’ trying to keep me hostage. Nonetheless my Red Sea is parting, I can see some dry land and I am walking thru on FAITH ALONE.”
This thought came from Jeanette Calder, all the way in Holland, as she completes studies in Urban Management and Development. She comes into the reality that often times it is the very persons with so little that seeks to hold back, imprison, enslave those with so much that their agenda might be realised. In realising their limitations they seek to use the skilled and intellectual and the creative to realise their dreams at their will (being the ones in the superior position). They usurp their authority, and sometimes abuse friendship and make others ‘with a willing or obedient heart’ work towards ensuring that their job, that is just that — theirs get done for them. They put themselves in high places, and positions, knowing full well they neither have capacity nor ability to accomplish it themlselves, and enslaves the noble.
No problem! However, the problem and shackles lie in the fact that they often want to do so at the expense of others who are noble, and humbled by other factors like desperation for financial stabilty, or fear of failing on an independent thrust or simply support teamwork for success.

The pharaohs usually chose persons who have more ‘talents’ than them as they ‘think’ this is the only way they themselves can achieve self worth. By having those they deem stronger and more gifted than themselves work for THEM, they abandon the principle of teamwork and equal respect. So they manipulate those who do, so they become the face of the real brains behind the project.

Creative, gifted, and intellectual Jamaicans and all who identify with struggling, oftentimes can also identify with this, as in a number of cases they in an effort to maintain their sanity endure the onslaught of these gods, these worldy ‘pharaohs’ get away with much.
Truth is though it is time to realise like Calder that this is a mere compromise of their purpose, their talents, their confidence and hence an insult to the Creator who deposited much to have great returns on his investment.
As Calder came to realise that through faith their is a parting of the red seas, dry land emerges for the noble to walk safely on the path towards their success. Realising the principle of “To whom much is given much is expected”, as fragmented through general religious sects is the first step to realising the challenges being as small and insignificant as they really are. The beginning of the ‘parting of the red seas.’
As Calder learns it, shew gives it there comes a time when creative, gifted and intellectual persons realise that they are really living below their potential and serving man, and other selfish agendas more than realising their purpose in life. This only holds back their individual self and an entire nation as those who are the helm perish and cause far more to perish as they simply lack vision, and operate only on greed. Then again when their greed is filled, and only temporarily, they seek to destroy and drain again—nothing gets accomplished, nothing gets advanced, as everyone is serving only the immediate desire of the greedy who begats more greed and never leaves the dining table. So als time to get downright creative, in input and output.
More on Calder stepping out to accomplish next time. Right now recognition is a good start.
