Why is anyone, Jamaicans for that matter, even given the name master painter? It’s a controversial issue, especially in Jamaica where persons join together, or form cliques to promote their own artist at the expense of others JUST so they can up the ‘value’ of the artwork of their choice.
“Old Master” (or “old master”) is a term for a European painter of skill who worked before about 1800, or a painting by such an artist.
