North East London Business Expo back on May 15

The North East London Business Expo is back

Taking place on Tuesday 15th May 2012, the second North East London Business Expo promises to be bigger and better than last year’s hugely successful inaugural event.

Hosted by New Direction Partnership, a networking group in East London run by local businesswoman Karen Flint, the Expo brings together businesses in the local area and further afield for a day of generating new business, establishing new relationships, networking and learning.

Sponsored by accountants Raffingers-Stuart and media experts Marcomedia Solutions, this year’s Expo will include 100 exhibition stands, a series of seminars from leading business speakers – from Warren Cass and Robert Craven to Sonia Brown MBE and Kimberly Davis – plus networking opportunities, both formal and informal.

Founding Director Karen Flint, together with Co-Director, Dawn Gomes, want to ensure that the day has something to offer all businesses in the area, both large and small, to encourage collaboration and co-operation.

Karen commented: “We are passionate about enabling businesses to come together in mutually beneficial ways; whether it’s buying services from each other or finding ways to collaborate. Due to the success of last year, we are doubling the number of exhibition stands, whilst still maintaining the very popular networking sessions and seminars. In this Olympic year, with the re-generation that is taking place in Waltham Forest, the Expo has a key part to play in showcasing what we have to offer in this area”.

Haven House children’s hospice will benefit from the Expo as its chosen charity with a donation to be presented after the event.
