Bissy (Cola Nut) Cola nuts are commonly used in Jamaica for treating and in some instances curing poisons from the system. It’s used for stomach pains. After the nuts are dried, the nuts are grated and boiled like coffee. Some Jamaicans make a blend with strong rum. A little cola is sometimes added to country chocolate and it is considered to allay hunger.
