The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) office of the Department of Homeland Security with its office at the U. S. Embassy, Kingston, will be closed to the public on Thursday April 12, 2012. Normal customer service hours for this office will resume on Monday April 16th, between 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.
This closure only affects USCIS. All other parts of the U.S. Mission, including the Consular Section (visas) will be open for normal business hours. Persons with visa appointments should report to the embassy fifteen minutes before the appointed time given.
Members of the public, who have a U.S. Immigration emergency on the closure dates indicated, are asked to contact the Embassy through its switch-board number at (876) 702-6000 or e-mail Jamaica.uscis@dhs.gov .
All other parts of the U.S. Mission, including the Consular Section (Visas), will be open.
