W Henry Eccleston exhibits at Iberostar Hotel, MoBay May 10

Brooklyn-based W Henry Eccleston is slated to exhibit at Suite Jamaica, Iberostar Rose Hall Suites, Montego Bay. A poet and artist, he hails from Trench Town where he lived a a youngster during Bob Marley’s youthful days.

SINGLE ROOM: In Trench Town, southwest of downtown Kingston, the Tenement Yard is the subject of this piece 'Single Room' is where Bob Marley and Tata, his mentor as a child often lay their head and sleep, sheltering themselves from the morning dew after a long night of rehearsing songs with the Wailers, as he rose to international fame

His poetry is his own Trench Town Reminisce which is also expressed in some of his art pieces. Posters, greeting cards will be available.

Host of the award-winning MIDNIGHT RAVERS on New York radio, Eccleston is an Ambassador of Jamaica’s culture and people in his own rank and file. He once owned a gallery which now is online as the ‘IandI’ art gallery. He travels the USA, giving lectures and is the recipient of awards for his poetry and work.
