FB Mark Wilson responds to Las May cartoon

CLOVIS AND LAS MAY – TWO PERSONS I TEND NOT TO TROUBLE. (PART 3)
SEE SPEAK your Mind Jamaica group

Las May did a cartoon where he depicted the JLP fussing about SUPPOSEDLY trivial matters when the more important issues like where poor people will get their next meal from, and how their children will be protected from sexual predators, ought to be on the front burner.

PNP seeks queen while...

First of all, does the fact that people are poor and that children are sexual victims means that nothing else is important? Or is it that we must not speak to other issues until these are addressed. And how important is the matter of national pride, nationalism, national symbols and patriotism. Are these trivial maters now?

What Las May attempted to TRIVIALIZE was the JLP’s CORRECT outrage at the removal of the green from the Jamaican flag for the swearing in ceremony of MoBay Mayor.

Question, if Las May TRULY believed that the more important issues are not being put to the fore, why did he not do this cartoon?
