Happy Emancipation! Are Jamaicans really free?

Dare I say Jamaica has not yet grasped the concept of being free – Truly emancipated
In times past our forefathers were brought to the Caribbean on a quest for better jobs, lands and better living. Fast forward to 2024. To date Jamaica is being trained of our resourceful.

Imagine Jamaica’s students acing the classes overseas. The teachers who taught them are then lured for better jobs. Nobody seems to realise that on one hand there are less great teachers to keep the minds of Jamaican students great. On the other hand the teachers who left for greener grass have been left to pasture on shrubs.
