How to make that bag of cement go soft again?

Try it and tell me. Recently someone engaged me in a discussion hearing the distress of a few hardworking contractors. This ‘expert’ told us to cover the bags of hardening cement with molasses and pledged that they will become soft and useable again.

Anyone out there whose game, do you mind trying and letting me know?
