QUESTION: Dear Legal Wiz,
If I have no money to hire a lawyer, can I still apply for Letters of
Administration
I have question rather than comment and would appreciate receipt of an
answer. Can one submit a request for a letter of administration without
the use of an attorney?
Barry Angel
RESPONSE: Barry Angel,
The cost of applying for Letters Of Administration covers more than an attorney’s fees/input. Therefore expenses would be incurred whether you apply with an attorney or independent of one. There will also be challenges as the document package can only be done by someone with a legal experience whether training or sound background.
