QUESTION: Dear Legal Wiz.
I visited the Sutton Street court and was assisted to write a notice by a man who claimed he was a n authority on notices. The notice turned out to be wring as the person filled it in incorrectly. Can you assist.
Ervan Jones
RESPONSE: Dear Ervan Jones,
Thanks for reaching out. It is important to understand that not everyone who claims to be in authority can fill in an actual notice. Truth be told even attornies, court staffers sometimes make errors with the notice to quit form. Although it is not technical, technical challenges can arise. On this site there are many posts giving guidance on how to write a notice form.
