The Public Affairs Section, U.S. Embassy, Kingston announces the 2013-2015 Fulbright Faculty Development Program. The Fulbright Faculty Development Program awards scholarships to lecturers at tertiary level institutions in Jamaica. Qualified applicants should have demonstrated excellent academic performance with first-class honors or upper-second class honors achieved for his/her Bachelor’s degree. Applicants are required to be Jamaican citizens currently residing in Jamaica. Importantly, the applicant should have a commitment to university lecturing and be supported by nomination for the program by the applicant’s tertiary institution. Damion Crawford clears inaccurate media reports

Honourable Damion Crawford, member of parliament for East Rural St. Andrew and State Minister in the Ministry of Entertainment and Tourism, wishes to clarify statements made in segments of the media this morning (Friday, March 30).
