Affidavit of Service is a written declaration made by a person who has served a process confirming that he served such. The process for court is usually prepared in the form of a document which is actually served on a party to a lawsuit. These persons are usually a process server or bearer.
The AFFIDAVIT OF SERVICE document is critical as it is presented in Court to prove that the party has been served, especially in instances where a party in the case claims to not have been served the document (s) in question.
