QUESTION: I lived with my boyfriend for six years in Constant Spring area. He had nothing, no job, nothing. I gave him monies to buy a bike and a car for our benefits. The bike was bought and papers are in my name. The car was not bought, and I broke up with him. I was told by the police to serve him summons cause they could not get involved. I did.
The boy threatened me to lock me up and he did by telling the police I stole his phone. He did and I was put on charge. I now have a hearing in criminal court, but up to now they wont charge him for holding unto my papers for the bike in my name that I paid for.
The police refused to listen to voice notes where the man told me to keep his phone as part of the refund for the car.
He even said on the voice note that his phone was valued at 15,000, but yet he told the police that the phone was valued at 100,000. Is this real?

So real you are on a criminal charge while he only has a civil case against him. You do need to run into the arms of a level headed lawyer. That lawyer can process your facts and get the man to be put on a charge on the first hearing of court.
