There are many perspectives as to what happened to Judge Ruth Lawrence. Her soul was laid to rest yesterday in Mandeville. Today we say goodbye. I still remember the early days with her as Clerk of court at the Parish Court, Sutton Street location.
I am grateful for her interest and support of the OAaSIS International Foundation. It was Judge Ruth Lawrence, then clerk, Dwane Forbes a passionate paralegal and I, a journalist then. Almost every evening we brainstormed ideas after everyone left for home.
