I question Jamaica justice system with some of these lawyers, judges

Please post this for me about my experience with one attorney and a judge which makes me really question Jamaica’s justice system.

I am here in Europe relying on a friend from the Legal Wiz network to do my legwork for me. From day one she did some research and then she got me an attorney-at-law. I told her I was fine since she got me the attorney, but I did not do as she asked to keep her updated. I now understand the reason she insisted on that.

It seems that lawyers have a free for all and do as they like when they do not answer to anyone.

Little did I know that six year later I would end up relying on the Legal Wiz team to complete the work. The attorney did get an order in my favour, but the order could not be used because of errors overlooked by her and the Judge. The attorney-at-law told me only after a very long time that she got another job so she could not assist us. I am very angry because then it would mean she was paid to do nothing. If we cannot use the order, then she hasnt done her job. Then no other attorney wants to help us to correct her error, so we winded up using our friend who we made our agent. From the Legal Wiz network, she managed to find one good attorney GOD bless.. agreed to help to do the application but could not attend in person. What was shocking was how the Judge treated the agent and us as if we were trying to avoid paying an attorney.

Jamaica to me has changed and seems corrupt. No one is above the law and should be allowed to act as if they are gods because of their position. If lawyers in Jamaica wont do their job it is our Godgiven right to use who we choose. There is no law that can force me to use an attorney unless they are working free.

There is no law that should force anyone to use a lawyer in Jamaica with so much corruption by lawyers themselfs. Now the lawyer has finally consented to assist and thats another story! She acts as if she is doing us a favour when the error was made on her part being the attorney who understands these legal things and orders.
Can you imagine this lawyer being well paid and not doing her job and to go back to court to get the order sorted out with the names corrected we now must pay huge sums. How can that be fair?
