In Jamaica times are hard up like basically anywhere else. In fact there is a popular saying that when America sneezes, Jamaica catches a cold. Far too many Jamaican creative people are migrating, as the easier way out. WHY? Numerous outstanding artists complain about ‘being taken advantage of.’ Jamaicans need to wise up about the arts.
