QUESTION: Dear Legal Wiz,
I need to get an order for from the Court so that I can evict the tenants out of my Jamaica house. I understand that there are some forms to fill in.
Sara
RESPONSE: Dear Sara,
At the Court where you will lodge your application for an order, there are some forms. However where application to recover your property is concerned, the legal wiz team has prepared forms bearing the same information that can be used also. When you submit the completed forms, you will be given an official court summons which serves to invite the person to come to court for a hearing. Their failure to turn up in Court will be to their detriment.
Please see click following links to three forms you need to fill in. Please fill in three copies of everything except the Plaint Note. So the court keeps a copy, the person gets a copy, and one is left back for you. The court however will seal all three.
1. The Plaint Note
2. Particulars of Claim
3. Notice to Tender In Evidence Hearsay Statements Made Into Documents
