Verbal notice is not enough in Jamaica!

DEAR LEGAL WIZ,
I gave my tenant a verbal notice to quit in February of 2019 and this is July 01 2019 and they are still here.
The court office said they can’t assist unless I have a copy of a writer notice. What other options do I have if any? I started construction but they are really getting in the way.
