Alborosie was born in Italy, but indulges in the culture of the Reggae homeland, as he finds himslef identifying with the challenges of the people.
In the United Kingdom , he released the debut album on Greensleeves Records Escape, in June of 2009.
The United States version will be extended by six more tracks and will be released as Escape From Babylon To The Kingdom Of Zion. Through the album Alborosie records his rise as a reggae star in answering the call to being consummate singer/songwriter.

At 15, the skilled artist starts in Italy as a founding member of the reggae band Reggae National Ticket. Signed to BMG Italia, they enjoyed huge success and record sales in excess of 200,000 units, according to a VP Records release.
