Yesterday, November 13 was the International Proxy Parents’ Annual Bazaar at the Wyndham Kingston Hotel. It was held in aid of Jamaican children’s charities.
Not planned as an art show, for the event each embassy had a boothe to display and sell items which included foods, clothes, craft, accessories, etc from their country. The main people were Embassy’s people, USA, Canada, countries from all over.

In the Japanese boothe, Rico (Reiko Nagase ), a Japanese artist living in Jamaica for over ten years had fun doing her art for visitors. It was Rico’s first experience doing a portrait, and she got overwhelming responses beyond her expectations.
