AntheaMcGibbon.com is an online mediahouse put together by a team of write lovers on arts, creativity, culture, law, spirituality of Jamaica. Each team member, although a part of the media team, is an expert in specific fields and are contracted on occasion for private work. Owner of the site, Anthea, herself is qualified and experienced in journalism, creative writing, the arts, art critique, paralegal & legal legwork, photography, teaching, children entertainment, modelling, tour arrangements, spanish skills, event planning and more, and yes, she paints. In addition to her product lines, she uses her skills to engage in consultations, career talks, motivational speaking, workshops for children and adults.

    Dear Gee,
    Since your mother did not leave a will, you must consider applying for Letters of Administration. You will need to check out if there was an actual title, as well as the grounds upon which your other sibling took over the property. You should also look into what you both can legally do and what that other sibling is actually doing.

    Good day to you. My mom had a house and she died . She did not leave a will. My other sibling took it over. What advice can you give me on how i handle getting my part.
