If fools nuh go market — bad goods nuh sell…
TRANSLATION: ‘When fools go market, bad goods sell’
Jamaican proverb or wise sayings or not.. makes sense and CENTS!
INCIDENT:
Yesterday a man claimed he had a car sitting in his yard not worth 5,000 and said he would take even 5,000 for it.. Up comes a JAMAICAN who enquires about the cost. On being told that he was to make an offer, the man offered J$17,000, but came back with $15,000. Now now in true Jamaican loyal style.. he comes another day to clear the $2,000 balance… and guess what VENDOR makes J$12,000 profit just like that. Now he can join other Jamaicans in buying a car, driving it out and selling it for almost double what he pay for…after selling a few more low budget to the fools who come buying.. doant.. Lol
