Judge threw out case after I did not tell my birth name

QUESTION: Dear Legal Wiz,
The other day the judge refused to continue my case. He asked me for my birth name and I didnt want to disclose it, because I have a deed poll with my new name which is muslim. This cant be right and I see it as a violation of my rights and religious freedom.
Big Joe

RESPONSE: Dear Big Joe,
If you feel strongly that your rights were violated and especially as your case was not heard, then you should submit a complaint to the relevant authorities.
