Art is often about the creation and output of communication. Patrick James is a graphic artist, paginator, sub-editor, writer, reporter, critic, musician, photographer. Should he receive the requisite guidance and continue in a positive vein, he is one that more persons can expect great things from in the future. Entities such as the OAaSIS International Foundation is already reaping well savoured fruits as James is graphic artist, writer and a member of the core team. As a volunteer he sometimes goes beyond his call to do workshops and hold one-on-one-motivation sessions with the benefitting children, who the Foundation team with.
At The Gleaner Company, where he works full time, he is a subeditor and paginator mainly. He is also a member of the write lover team contributing to both www.antheamcgibbon.com (P Gavin James), and www.jamaicans.com.
He as a core team member is also not about “feeling sorry for” anyone, but rather in emphasizing with another’s conditions, he joins OAaSIS in supporting change through the projects (arts, creativity, culture) and influence of the Foundation set up to empower others.

PGJ:
1984: Born in St Andrew Parish,Jamaica .
1987: Began my formal education.
1990: Attended Meadowbrook Preparatory School
1996: Attended Meadowbrook High School
1997: Joined Jamaica Combined Cadet Force, starting at Meadowbrook High School Cadet Unit before
being transferred to cadet headquarters to form the nucleus of the revived Jamaica Combined Cadet Force Band.
2001: Completed O’Levels.
2003: Completed A
