My woeful sojourn with Jamaica surveyor

QUESTION: Dear Legal Wiz,
I paid a survey all his money he asked for to carry out checking of pegs because some squatters are saying they are not on my land. Its been over six months and most times I cannot get to this surveyor. I recently got him and he asked me for more money because he says its difficult with the number of squatters discovered.
However his promise to return my money has not been fulfilled so I can move on and I dont want to report him. Can you assist?

RESPONSE: Dear Pam
We can assist to track him down and then you will still need to decide if you want to take him to court for an order for him to finish what he started or to return your monies. It is strongly recommended though that you report him to the Surveyors Association (Disciplinary Committee)
