No more excuses for ‘Africans’, Jamaicans on crime culture

Again! “We” continue to ignore the very deadly contradictions within by deflecting without – are they NOTHING within our reach to CHANGE? Blessings! – Shawn McDonald

African people are running out of excuses and as the Asians/China (joining the Europeans, Arabs and Indians) have now seen it fit to exact their form of “assistance”, we might just be running out of time.

A PEOPLE WHO CANNOT APPROPRIATELY SOCIALIZE ITS CHILDREN, ARE A PEOPLE DOOMED FOR DESTRUCTION –
SELF-DESTRUCTION!

Examine this negative trend across the Caribbean, N. America (USA/Canada), S. America (Guyana/Brazil), Europe (England/France) and Africa (Sub-Sahara), there’s no doubt that collectively, African people are experiencing cultural regression/social Darwinism – our “culture” can no longer solve our problems but is “creating” them.

African people, regardless of nationality, class, religion, etc., are ALIENATED – we’re externalized as our archetype for being is another. The very obvious rises in skin bleaching, cosmetic surgeries and other “subtle” expressions (our hunger for foreign products) definitely illustrates this point…deny it all one wants.

It’s necessary that we go through a comprehensive assessment of the personality configurations and how they fit in our general make-up, our “culture” – RE-EDUCATION. Most of the African personality are simply byproducts of oppression, i.e., reactionary/neurotic.

Tragically, however, although we’re in a dubious state, this process would prove extremely formidable since at the center of our group consciousnesses is an incredible degree of rugged individualism and ego-defensive behaviors and attitudes, as is expected.

Consequently, one of the most effective measures in the transformation process is leaders/cultural icons (across all sphere of activity and influence). They must be more than mouthpieces (one of today’s preeminent problems); they must be living models of intrinsically desired characteristics. Along with the leadership restructuring, building culturally relevant institutions (NOT FOREIGN COPIES) – esp. schools, is essential – people have to be educated in their reality/challenges.

Oh! Please don’t tell me it’s about money for consumers (us) talk about money (DEPENDENCY), producers (everyone else) talk about economic systems (INDEPENDENCE). African Americans are a good case study to demonstrate this point. Together, our annual worth is ONE TRILLION DOLLARS. Making African Americans the 9th or 10th richest group in the world; yet, we spend about 5% with each other as we claim to be poor – MADNESS!

Accordingly, “we” remain at the lower echelons of the socioeconomic totem pole for we lack the proper social relations – an economic system is not the mere existence of money or natural resources. Ultimately, an economic system is based on social relations – the way people systematically relate, one to the other…TRUST! These things are systematically taught by people who are serious and not left to chance – it’s imperative that Africans do the same.

By the way, please be cognizant of the fact that outside influences, along with “our” own managers of oppression (a population larger than most would like to know or admit to), would invest in debunking such an effort for African people’s problems are a multi-trillion dollar investment and people, including “our” own, are willing to kill to maintain us in this embarrassing state.

If you’re confused, look at China – they closed ranks for almost a century and transformed their culture based on their history, reality and destiny and drastically reduced their foreign dependency and identification and created the personalities they need to become SELF-DETERMINED and a WORLD POWER.

WE’VE THE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERTISE… – NOW, LET’S EXERCISE OUR WILL! Blessings!
