Sophia Brown, TOK for Corporate Uber fashion show at FICTION

At the Fiction lounge at the Constant Spring Road location, Kingston this Friday, April 7, Jamaica Association Of Young Professionals (JAYP) presents “Corporate UBER FASHION” Business Mixer.

Reggae recording artiste Sophia Brown, and, dancehall’s hottest group T.O.K will deliver the performing package.

Each month the FICTION Mixer is held inside the Marketplace is geared towards bringing young professionals from across various industries together towards developing the jamaican society through social interaction, professional enhancement and economic advancement. This Friday, it is expected to be nonstop excitement, as local designers and storeowners including Rojah Threads, Yahdie Conscious, I LOVE JA (By SAI), Fashion Fever, Di Trends and Spokes Apparel, PEACE-IS OF BIANCA (jewelry), and PING! (The Premiere Blackberry Accessories Provider) will all showcase the latest trends in the fashion world.

Organiser of the Fashion Segment, Ashlei Fearce, explained how the theme, a fusion of ideas’ for this April instalment of the Business Mixer came about. “Uber Fashion is the name of an upcoming 15 minute TV Series I am currently working on… so when I was approached by Ammesha Samuels representative of JAYP to co-ordinate this segment we decided to fuse ideas, the end result of which is “Corporate UBER FASHION”.

Members of the Jamaica Business Development Centre (JBDC) will speak on Business Expos and how young professionals can join the Business Cluster. Representatives from the Institute of Jamaica will have copies of the National Magazine Jamaica Journal available for patrons to browse or purchase.
MC for the evening will be Otis Hamilton, while special guests from The Lawman Lynch Foundation will have a soft launch for the Music For Life Charity Event.
