Yesterday, Thursday, July 21, 2022, the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission (JCDC), an agency of the Ministry of Culture, Gender, Entertainment, and Sport, launched its Visual Arts Exhibition for the Eastern Region and host its annual Visual Arts Award Ceremony at the Jamaica Conference Centre in Kingston, beginning at 10:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. respectively.

Jamaica’s FiWi Short Film competition opens
The Jamaica Cultural Development Commission (JCDC) is alerting potential entrants of the second staging of the Fi Wi Short Film Competition which is open to the public from ages 13 to 90. The competition is free and open to individuals who have never made a film or had a screen play produced.
