Can I pay my tax for my land in Jamaica online?

QUESTION: Dear Legal Wiz,
Can I pay off my taxes for my land in Jamaica online? Recently my tenant called me to tell me that she and her sister wanted to pay off my taxes and buy my land. Of course I dfound it odd as she has been giving me quite a challenge to pay the rent which she says she cant pay as she has no money.

Please encourage all Jamaicans to do this, as there are a few dishonest persons targetting homes where taxes are not kept up-to-date to try to take over and claim that the property is abandoned. Keep in touch or get someone to keep in touch with your home for you.
