Did JPS, neighbour erect lightpost on my Jamaica land?

QUESTION: Dear Legal Wiz: Firstly, there is a lightpost with a light meter, on my land that I did not put there.
I visited my land in Jamaica the other day. The next door neighbour has a meter on a light post put up on my land. Another point is that, she claimed the Jamaica Public Service (JPSCo) Company put it there. I dont understand how they did it, because, the pegs are marked in red. As a matter of fact, they came across the border line. Albeit the fence is torn down. Therefore will you assist?

RESPONSE: Dear Vince,
We researched your issue. Most noteworthy, the Jamaica Public Service Company (JPSCo) did not erect the lightpost. The neighbour directed the contractors to install the meter on the lightpost. She bought the post from the Jamaica Public Service (JPSCo) after they used it.
Of interest, is that the neighbour, the tenant from next door, gives the impression that she owns your property.
As a result, you need to contact the Jamaica Public Service (JPSCo). Ask JPS to remove the meter. Above all, take the woman to court for her to remove the post, if she refuses to corporate.
