Rent Jamaica property/ land with a good contract

Its no more an hassle to rent or lease property in Jamaica, whether you end up renting to or from. The Jamaica Rent Assessment Board located in The Towers, New Kingston provides useful guidelines.
Then before you even visit with an attorney-at-law there are several real estate agencies you can consider.
There are also freelance agents, although not trained in real estate or as an attorney-at-law, there is an increased interest in using the freelancers who do a pretty good job at monitoring your rental business.
The drawback to having a freelancer as an agent though, is that you must know them very well, or get good recommendations otherwise. They must be empowered with a power of attorney document, which functions to give them power of agency.
