Finally, Jamaica gets a literary fair titled “Independent Voyces Literary Fair.”
Come this Tuesday, October 19, Jamaican media personnel will be given a briefing of Independent Voyces Literary Fair at a press launch slated for Bookophilia at 6pm. The orginal launch set for Friday, October 1 was postponed owing to heavy rains.

Independent VoYces Literary Fair is a one-day event which will feature a selection of mostly new authors who will share the stage with featured poets, dramatists and dub poets, backed by drummers and a sax player. Independent VoYces will also feature an all-day open microphone on its Speaker
