QUESTION: Dear Legal Wiz,
I paid someone monies to acquire a birth certificate. They told me my surname is was not registered so I cant get the birth certificate. Can you investigate and see if this is true. I sent down the birth registration paper to get it done.
Beatrice Chevannes
RESPONSE:: Dear Beatrice,
Checks were made. You can get the certificate after you apply to have the surname entered. You can make applications to have the surname added by the “Late Entry Process”. Its going to require a bit more work and the submission of other documents such as letters from your older siblings, first school you attended using that name and a signed testimony from you.
If you need our team to assist you, for additional fees.
