Man outside Kingston court ‘can’ get Court order in a day!

DEAR LEGAL WIZ,
Someone met me at Sutton Street court, on the outside and told me that they could put in a case for me, and get even the Judge to sign off the same day on the order. I went to the Court to get some persons off my land that were put there by the other person on the title.
The man appeared to me as though he worked there, because he was nicely dressed and had a clean shaved head. He also knew a lot about the procedures and I even saw him going inside, beyond the public space area, after he told me that. I told him I would come back because I didn’t have all the money he told me it cost.
Tell me, do you know of this process. Seems crazy to me.

Dear Shonnette,
Thanks for writing in. It is crazy! Hardly any process can ever take a day to be over. There are instances whereby you are not required to go to Court, but still those processes last more than a day. Especially at that court where they seem to have longer time spans for doing certain things by internal rules and procedures.
Secondly, if you meet someone who cannot show you a valid government issued id that they in fact work at that or any other court, DO NOT believe them where your matter is concerned!
Bear in mind though that there are freelancers in the legal system that can assist, but ensure they represent and the facts themselves properly. So you could go inside and check the information, and then decide if you need a freelancer to assist you just the same, but correctly! all the best!
